September 2-6 2011 the Harokopio University of Athens, Greece will host the 17th European Colloquium on Quantitative and Theoretical Geography ECQTG2011). We are happy to announce that two papers are being accepted for presentation at this conference, one on the calibration of cellular automata land use models and one on the integration of socio-economics in land use modelling for natural resource management.
